Welcome to OTR Talk

Hello and welcome to OTR Talk!
Old Time Radio Talk hopes to become your OTR home and resource center on the net. Honestly, there is no way a single site can accomplish this. We hope that by providing a friendly helpful atmosphere, great resources, personal support and links to other otr related sites we can at least be one of your regular stops.
OTR Talk is a new site but not a new concept or even a new group of friends. OTR Talk is actually the return of OTR-TNT.COM (Old Time Radio Talk & Trade). OTR-TNT was one of core sites in the online otr community before shutting down about 7 months ago. Well, we're back and better than ever. We retained some great features from the old site like:
  • OTR Talk's OTR Sampler. The sampler is great place for those new to otr to listen to shows representing different series in several genres.
  • OTR Talk's OTR Series List. This list is an attempt at an exhaustive list of otr series that aired over the years. The list can be sorted alphabetically or by genre and is a great resources for that collector looking for a series he might have missed.
  • Searchable Episode Logs. These logs have been compiled and provided by a real pillar of the otr community, Jerry Haendiges of The Vintage Radio Place. The logs are completely searchable and therefore are neccessity for the serious collector.
  • OTR Related Articles. We start off with an absolutely great set of articles written by Terry Salomonson. His series Information and Help to the OTR Collector is a very real boon to the community and helpful to both those new and experienced in otr.
  • Links to other OTR sites. When it comes to otr, no site is an island. This is a growing list of otr sites with info on what they provide and place for you comment on them.
  • More to come....We are just starting back and have alot of work and growth ahead of us.
What we need is you! All lovers of old time radio and yesterear are welcome. So come on in and make yourself at home.
